Another view of Lud's Church.

Lud's Church is a wonderful romantic location in Staffordshire, England - a long narrow natural cleft in the rocks in woodland in the Peak District. There's a story about it being used by Luddites as a hideaway during their agitations. See also [link] and [link]

I've put up another copy of this shot in my Scraps, see [link] - sharper and more contrasty.

It's a wonderful place. I didn't get as long as I'd have liked there last summer :( but we had a good time trying to find it and exploring the woods :)

Very close! If you follow the link to Lud's Church, as opposed to Lud's Church 2 or Lud's Church 3, then you'll have it. I've never taken it down - just removed its big yellow border and all the polemic about the Submission Agreement.
